All ten episodes from the first season of the TV crime drama following an ex-con who assumes the identity of a sheriff. Having served 15 years in prison following a diamond heist, a man (Antony Starr) heads to the fictional town of Banshee, Pennsylvania, to escape New York mob boss Mr Rabbit (Ben Cross) and to reconnect with his crime partner and ex-girlfriend Anastasia (Ivana Milicevic) who now has her own family and is living under the name of Carrie Hopewell. When Lucas Hood (Griff Furst), who is about to be appointed as Banshee's new sheriff, is murdered the ex-con takes on his identity but he soon has to deal with Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen), the corrupt businessman who rules over the town. The episodes are: 'Pilot', 'The Rave', 'Meet the New Boss', 'Half Deaf Is Better Than All Dead', 'The Kindred', 'Wicks', 'Behold a Pale Rider', 'We Shall Live Forever', 'Always the Cowboy' and 'A Mixture of Madness'.
From executive producer Alan Ball, creator of True Blood, this Cinemax action drama charts the continuing twists and turns that follow Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-convict who improbably assumes the identity of sheriff of the rural, Amish-area town of Banshee, where his former lover and partner-in-crime (Ivana Milicevic) lives under the alias Carrie Hopewell. Season 2 takes up immediately after the events of the Season 1 finale, when Carrie’s father, gang kingpin Rabbit (Ben Cross) was left for dead after a climactic warehouse shootout. Carrie, now exposed and estranged from her husband and kids, is torn between her devotion to her family and her connection to Lucas, who had given himself up in order to save her years earlier. The new season finds Lucas, having escaped detection after being interrogated by FBI agent Jim Racine (guest star Zeljko Ivanek), with his hands fuller than ever as sheriff, dealing with (among other things) the murder of a Kinaho tribe girl, the continuing escalation of tensions between Amish overlord Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) and Kinaho tribe leader Alex Longshadow (Anthony Ruivivar), as well as the unwelcome appearance of a surprise visitor: the reprobate son of the real ( and late) Lucas Hood.
BANSHEE returns for its ten-episode third season, the Emmy®-winning show is executive produced by Jonathan Tropper, Peter Macdissi, Alan Ball and Greg Yaitanes. The show stars Antony Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, Pa., where he continues his criminal pursuits while enforcing his own code of justice. Other returning cast regulars include: Ivana Milicevic as Carrie Hopewell, a notorious jewel thief who lives in Banshee under an assumed identity with her family, which has recently learned of her criminal past; Ulrich Thomsen as Kai Proctor, an intimidating, wealthy businessman who believes he is above the law; and Frankie Faison as Sugar Bates, a powerful and wise former boxer and ex-con who is now the owner of the local watering hole.Episode Names:
This MAX action drama charts the final twists and turns that follow Lucas Hood, an ex-convict who assumed the identity of sheriff in the Amish-area town Banshee, where his former lover and partner-in-crime was living under her own alias, Carrie Hopewell. Season 4 (8 episodes) takes place two years after the Season 3 denouement, when Lucas gave up his badge after a bloody, multimillion-dollar heist at the Camp Genoa Marine Base. The mission proved costly: Carrie's husband Gordon was killed, and Lucas's longtime computer-hacker partner, Job, was abducted by a shady criminal ring. After settling a score with Robert Dalton, a "recruiter" from Lucas's past whom he hoped would have intel on Job, Lucas went on a bender before being rescued by an unlikely savior: Rebecca Bowman, Proctor's niece. Emerging from a self-imposed exile, Lucas returns to Banshee to find it a changed town. Brock Lotus is now sheriff, Kai Proctor is the mayor, and the old "Cadi" police station has been replaced by a state-of the-art facility. A new deputy with ties to Proctor, Nina Cruz, has joined Brock's team, along with Kurt Bunker, the skinhead-turned-deputy who continues to make amends for his dark past while fighting the racist overtures of the group led by his younger brother Calvin. After reuniting with Carrie, their daughter Deva, and ex-boxer Sugar Bates, Lucas becomes immersed in a new Banshee crisis: rooting out a vicious serial murderer whose latest victim is someone near and dear to his heart.
